The rationale for the curriculum is based on the school’s shared vision of working together to inspire learning and shape the future.
The curriculum is designed to provide a broad general education for all young people.
The promotion of health and wellbeing underpins much of the curriculum to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

A reminder that the Pupil Council will be selling toast on Tuesday for 10p.
Due to the poor mountain forecast, the decision has been made to cancel skiing. We will instead add the ski day on at the end of the block and go on 31 March as well as the 10th, 17th and 24th.
Remember to order school lunch if you need one for tomorrow with payment.
Just a reminder that Thursday 5 March is World Book Day. Children and staff may come to school dressed up as a book character. If you are taking part in the Solo Verse Speaking at the Music Festival in the morning then please come to school in your school uniform but you can change into your character when you return to school.
Also, bring a book to swap.
These ideas are from the Pupil Council so please support them.
A £1 book voucher will be issued this week to each child which can go towards buying a book or buying a special World Book Day book which is available in some shops.
It’s almost that time of year again when the P4-7 take to the mountains! Remember skiing will start on Tuesday 3 March. Be prepared for the mountain environment and also for having lots of fun!
If we have to postpone the skiing due to weather we will try and let you know on the Monday (late afternoon).
Thank you to the parents/carers who came along to the Curriculum presentation on Feb 12th. The feedback from parents was very positive and was sent home today. The feedback has also been added to the blog under the ‘How Good Is Our School page.
Tuesday 24 Feb
There is NO school transport this morning but school is open to those children who can safely make it in.
There is a fault in the telephone messaging system so I cannot update it.
Remember that in adverse weather conditions, it is the parents/carers responsibility to decide whether or not to send their child to school or not.
